Village&Co. & Donuts    After 16 years of quality coffee, we’d like to wish a very happy birthday to our friends at Salt Spring Coffee today! What better way to celebrate their Sweet 16 birthday than with something sweet? We contacted Vancouver’s newest foodie hotspot, Cartems Donuterie in Gastown, to collaborate on a special edition espresso donut. Their team jumped in with both feet and got working on perfecting the recipe. Combining Salt Spring Coffee’s quality with their culinary expertise, the result was pure donut magic. To involve Salt Spring Coffee’s community, we helped spread the word through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram and Pinterest. Once they got talking, we rewarded a few lucky followers because after all, it wouldn’t be a birthday without presents. Starting the day by hand delivering these handmade donuts was the perfect kick-off to this Sweet 16. We knew donuts were trendy, but after a morning full of tweets, sharing and Instagram photos, they’re actually trending in Vancouver.
