VANCOUVER CHERRY BLOSSOM VIEWING X GOOGLE MAPS
You don’t have to be an arborist to appreciate cherry blossoms in bloom… especially in Vancouver, where there are 43 different cherry tree varieties that come into bloom in 23 different neighbourhoods across the city.
Typically, most Vancouverites experience the blossoms haphazardly… emerging from the Burrard Skytrain station, rounding a corner on the seawall or heading down Lakewood to Village&Co. For others, cherry blossom viewing has started to become quite the sport.
The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Society (@VCBF2011), along with Google Maps has created a viewing map plotting more than 50 park locations and other favourite cherry viewing locations. Start planning your field trips.
